1. Scope
This policy describes cookies, local storage, and equivalent tools used by the NexNode website. Although technically different, identifiers stored on or read from a device follow the same transparency and privacy-by-default approach.
The frontend audit performed on July 13, 2026 found no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, fingerprinting, pixels, or automatically loaded third-party embeds.
2. Current storage inventory
nexnode-consent-v1First-party local storageTechnical: records the version, date, and privacy choice so the banner is not repeated improperly.6 monthsNot required
nexnode-languageFirst-party local storagePreference: remembers the selected language.Up to 6 monthsConsent
nexnode_web_access_tokenFirst-party local storageTechnical: keeps the account session active after login or registration.Until logout, expiry, or invalidationNot required; necessary for the requested service
__Host-nexnode_deviceSecure and HttpOnly technical cookie set by the NexNode APISecurity: contains a random signed identifier used in HMAC form to correlate possible abuse across accounts. It is not a hardware fingerprint and is available only to the API.180 daysNot required; necessary for security and abuse prevention
3. Categories
- Necessary: privacy choice, access token, and pseudonymous device cookie, used only for security, authentication, abuse prevention, and the requested feature.
- Preferences: selected language, disabled by default and stored only after consent.
- Analytics: not used.
- Marketing and profiling: not used.
4. Consent mechanism
On the first visit, optional storage remains off. The User may accept the language preference, continue with necessary tools only, or customise the choice. Closing with the X keeps necessary tools only.
The choice is specific, revocable, and recorded on the device. The banner is shown again after six months, after a material change, or when the browser no longer retains the choice.
Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful use. Disabling preferences deletes the saved language; the language selected for the open page continues to work for that session.
5. Changing or deleting choices
The 'Cookie settings' control in the footer reopens the preference centre at any time. The User may also delete site data in browser settings, which removes the language, privacy choice, and any account session.
Blocking all browser storage may prevent persistent login and saved choices, while informational pages remain available.
6. Third parties and external links
Website fonts are hosted locally and are not requested from Google. Links to Discord, Instagram, TikTok, X, and other sites do not send data to those services until selected. The external site's own cookies and notices apply after opening it.
Hosting and security infrastructure receive technical data needed to deliver the website, but the frontend does not authorise those providers to install profiling tools through the NexNode banner.
7. Updates and contacts
The inventory is updated before introducing new tools. Any non-technical cookie or tracker will remain blocked until the User makes a valid choice.
